Reviewing Clickbank Products

Clickbank is the world’s largest internet provider of digital products. Everyday many products are added to Clickbank’s marketplace for Affiliate Marketers to evaluate whether they want to promote that product or not.

Those that are new to Affiliate Marketing go to Clickbank and then try to sort through all the products and then set up campaigns and web sites to promote them. Expectations are huge and all the hype that takes place with the “pitch pages” of the products can lead Affiliate Marketers down a path of self destruction.

Only a small percentage of people promoting products on Clickbank really make the “huge bucks”. Those on the outside of this group don’t know what they have done incorrect and after much effort, give up.

To help those just early out, there is a few equipment that can help in determining whether a product on Clickbank is worth promoting and has the potential to make money. By using the following key points as a check list when reviewing pitch pages, it is simple to evaluate a excellent quality pitch page versus one that won’t convert for the Affiliate Marketer.

Key #1 – Appreciative Keywords

This is a given when it comes to AdWords and promoting any product. If your keywords are not relevant to the product you are promoting, no one is going to buy the product. You have to look at this from the customer’s top of view. If they type in a keyword in the a search engine and your product comes up, but when they open up the pitch page and the keyword didn’t match up with what they are looking for, they will just hit the “back” button on their computer and go on. You just lost a sale.

Key #2 – The Headline

Does the headline stand out? Does it capture your attention? Does it make a desire for you to want to read more? If it doesn’t, it’s time to look for another product to promote. If you aren’t interested in reading the full pitch page, neither will be your customers.

Key#3 – What’s in it for me?

Again, place yourself in your customer’s shoes. Reckon about the benefits and features of what the product is promoting. Does it match up with your keywords for relevance and does it make a “what’s in it for me” desire to learn more. How does it benefit your customer?

Key #4 – Is there a unique selling proposition?

Products that offer a unique selling proposition will sell much better than anything else. What is unique about this product that other products are not offering? How can you capitalize on this to gain a niche that others will miss out on?

Key #5 – Are there testimonials?

Are there testimonials? These are vital to show credibility of the product being sold. A few are really excellent, too many and it can overwhelming and they will not be read.

Key #6 – Is there a guarantee?

Even though this is vital for your pitch page and customers really look at them, Clickbank requires all products sold to have a 56 day return policy. Now, if the guarantee is for longer than 56 days, it would catch my attention.

Key #7 – Is there a call to action?

It’s incredible how many pitch pages I have seen that have not had a call to action. It’s really hard to make a sale if you don’t instruct a customer on what to do to make the buy.

Key #8 – Are there “exits” off the pitch page?

Phone numbers, send by e-mail address’, text links to other web pages, and opt-in boxes for newsletters, free offers, and trials are considered “exits” off of the pitch page that benefit the seller and not the affiliate marketer. Look for all “exits” to make sure they benefit both the seller and the affiliate marketer.

Again, as an Affiliate Marketer, use these keys as a checklist to do your research on your products. By compelling the time to do this research, a new Affiliate Marketer can be well on their way to success.

How to Get Free Website Traffic Using ClickBank

There are some really fantastic reasons to like ClickBank. They really can make equipment pretty simple for you. But the largest wits that you should place your business on this site is because of your potential for generous amounts of free website traffic. ClickBank will provide free traffic for your business in a couple of uncommon ways, but the largest way they do this is through the simplicity of their affiliate programs.

So, here’s the deal. I head on over to ClickBank right now and become an affiliate for thousands of uncommon affiliate programs. With a instant search, you can find a number of uncommon products to promote in a number of uncommon target markets. This is a fantastic way to generate some extra returns for your business. Every day people are going to ClickBank in order to include affiliate links on their blogs, websites, and in their send by e-mail marketing. O.K., so here’s some fantastic numbers: With my least well loved ClickBank product, I get an average of about 25 visitors per week to my website.

Now, I admit that 25 free visitors per week isn’t a touch to get to excited about, but keep in mind that these 25 visitors are people who are looking for a profitable affiliate program. If only one of these 25 visitors per week choose to become my affiliate, then that is 1 person per week that has chose to start advertising my website for me!

The ploy is that you want as many of your website visitors from ClickBank to choose to become your affiliate, and there are a few simple steps that you can take in order to make this happen. One thing you need to do is to make a pitch page that really stands out. Usually affiliates like to see a really fantastic sales letter. I have spent weeks on just one sales letter trying to make it the most impressive sales copy possible so that normal visitors will be compelled to buy and so that people looking for an affiliate program will have faith that my sales copy will sell, meaning money in their pockets.

There is a rather generous correlation on ClickBank with the types of websites that have tons of affiliates and with the types of websites that have zero affiliates. What I like to do is irregularly look at the websites that have zero affiliates in order to try and figure out why nobody desires to participate in their affiliate program. Usually it is pretty simple to see why particular website’s affiliate programs fail. One huge thing I see often is websites with very poor graphics. For a few hundred dollars you can easily hire a companionship to provide you with professional looking graphics for your digital product, for your website banner, and for your sales letter.

The second largest thing I see is people who try to write a fantastic sales letter but who really have no thought what they are doing. My suggestion here is to get a small bit of training on how to write a excellent sales letter. This can go a long way and is a skill that you can use for websites that you write in the future. The third largest thing that I see people do that causes few people to want to join your affiliate program is you offer a very small commission on an unpopular product. The maximum amount of commission that you can offer affiliates through ClickBank is 75%. If nobody has learned your product yet, then why not give your affiliates the highest commission possible? They are truly doing you a favor by spreading the word about your new product, so they deserve the highest payout that you can give them.

Basically, if you follow honest business practices, make your website appealing, and provide a decent sales message to your website visitors, then many of these affiliates will give your product a chance, and when those affiliates start profiting from your product, then your website will receive generous amounts of free traffic and exposure.

An Introduction to Clickbank: How to Profit as an Affiliate or a Merchent

The premise behind Clickbank is undemanding: allocate merchants to sell digital products quickly and easily to anyone over the internet. Clickbank deals with collecting payment, delivering the product and includes a generous infrastructure dedicated to affiliate marketing. Dozens of systems (sold through Clickbank themselves) offer to help you use this website to gain financial freedom.

If this sounds like a get rich instant scheme, that’s probably because many internet marketing gurus believe it is. As I’ve said many times, there is no such thing on the internet. But, Clickbank is about as close as you can get. First of all, let me state that all of the products I link to on this site use Clickbank to handle the sale. Why is this? Because it is simple to set-up and use, secure and honestly inexpensive for the merchant. Now you question: how exactly can Clickbank.com help me make online revenue?

There are two ways to make money with Clickbank, you can either sell your own product or market someone else’s. Both methods require many of the same skills, but for the rest of this article I will discuss affiliate marketing, since it is simpler to enter this market (you do not need to make your own unique product). Merchants will pay you anywhere from 25%-75% of the item’s sales price to market their products for them. Why would they do this? The marginal (extra) cost on digital products, such as e-books and video tutorials, is not anything. The merchant would rather let their affiliates do the work selling the product and descend for a smaller profit than try and do all the promotion on their own. Each merchant makes a “pitch” page for each of their products. These pages are what sells the product to each visitor and contains a button which leads each potential customer to the Clickbank order page.

The basic thought behind affiliate marketing on Clickbank is as follows. First, find a high quality product (I will provide some advice on how to do this in a future article) with reasonably low competition (measured by the gravity score, abbreviated as “grav”) at the Clickbank Marketplace. After signing up with Clickbank, use Adwords (or some other method of advertising) to get visitors to your sales page. This page is the merchant’s pitch page with your affiliate ID included to track the sales. The thought is to find combinations of products on Clickbank & keywords on Adwords which satisfy this equation: profit per item sale on Clickbank is greater than average cost per click multiplied by your conversion rate (percentage of time a visitor buys the product). I reckon that’s enough of an intro for now, I will post another article shortly teaching you how to find top quality products on Clickbank.
